Commander’s Weapon Sighting System

The commander’s weapon sight on the M1 Abrams is a critical component that enhances situational awareness, target acquisition, and engagement capability—especially when operating the .50 caliber machine gun mounted on the commander’s station.  This is only used on older tanks that do not have the CROWS fire control system upgrade.
